"Do They Know It's Christmas?" is a charity song written in 1984 by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure. The artwork on the sleeve of the vinyl was designed by Peter Blake. Blake is a prominent figure in the pop art movement. In 2002 he was knighted for his services to art. Peter Blake also co-created the sleeve design for The Beatles album Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and also the covers for two of The Who's albums. - Signed by Bob Geldof, Midge Ure and Peter Blake.
