Jools Holland is a multi-talented British musician who wears many hats in the music world: pianist, bandleader, singer, composer, and television presenter.
Holland's foray into bands began as a founding member of the British pop band Squeeze in 1974. He played keyboards on their first three albums before pursuing a solo career in 1980.

Squeeze achieved commercial success and remained active on and off for many years, even reuniting in the early 2000s.

Perhaps his most recognizable endeavor, Jools Holland formed his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra sometime in the 1980s. This large 19-piece ensemble allows him to explore his love for R&B and blues on a grand scale.
The orchestra has become a fixture in the British music scene, known for their energetic live performances and collaborations with a wide range of artists.
